“The Girl in the Window” is a collection of stories that paint a picture of my grandmother’s life. I spent five years conducting interviews with her, researching her background and carefully crafting a narrative that highlights her character, history and personal relationships.

The book features stories we can all relate to – stories of loss and grieving, of joy, of hard work, of loving oneself and of serving others. Through Emilie’s lens, readers catch a glimpse of life’s true meaning and gain inspiring insights in the process.
